Gjallarbru for android

A mobile application for reading Old Norse poetry with parallel Russian and English translations. The app is designed for comfortable reading and research, combining the original texts with synchronized translations in a clean and structured interface. Gjallarbru works entirely offline, with all texts bundled locally, making the complete collection available without an internet connection. The application supports full-text search across Old Norse, Russian, and English content, adjustable font sizes, and light and dark themes. The reading interface uses different layouts for poetic stanzas and prose, with synchronized text blocks allowing the original and translation to be viewed together. The content is stored in structured JSON files and aligned across languages to provide consistent navigation and presentation. The application was developed as a real Android product and published on RuStore, with a focus on offline functionality, privacy, performance, and a comfortable reading experience.
